Policies and Procedures

From Walmart to Annie Leibovitz, there are many different approaches and business models for creating and delivering photographic imagery. Every business or photographic artist has their own way of working to create and deliver their work. There is no right or wrong - only what works for you and the business or artist. Listed below are Pink Fog Studios policies and proceedures for client engagements. David Zwick's process for creating and producing his photographic imagery may or may not be right for you and your family. If not, we understand and thank you for contacting us and your interest and consideration. We wish you all the best in your search.

1. PAYMENT: All session fees and orders must be paid in full in advance before a session is scheduled or work is begun and due to the nature of photographic printing and framing, once placed, all orders are non-refundable.

2. REVIEW SESSIONS: Portrait review sessions are done in studio and must be completed within 90 days from the time of your session. Becasue of the great demand for David's time, a single review session is provided per each photography session, regardless of how many familes are invloved in the session. Therefore, we recommend that all decision makers are present at your review session. If requested, additional review sessions are available for a nominal fee.

3. PROOFS AND DIGITAL IMAGES: There are no proofs, paper or electronic, to take out of the studio. Unretouched images do not leave the studio at any time. Images from portrait sessions are not posted online for review or purchase even in this age of wonders. If you are looking for a photography shoot that ends with images posted online for review and purchase, we understand, but we are not the right photography studio for you at this time. However, we are confident that given all the available options you will have no trouble finding the right fit if you keep searching. 4. ORDER PROCESSING: Standard or custom print order processing takes 4-6 weeks and 8-12 weeks for a David Zwick Signature Fine Art Portrait from the day your order is placed and paid in full. Based on David's schedule, expedited processing may be available. If requested and available, there is a 25% charge added to rush orders.

5. RETOUCHING: Basic retouching is included with every standard print order and includes removing facial glare, stray hairs, skin blemishes, spots in backgrounds, whitening teeth and eyes, and image exposure. Additional requests are accomodated through our Basic Plus or Special Services retouching programs and will incur additional charges based on the studios current retouching options and price list.

6. DELIVERY: Once completed, the studio will contact you to schedule a time for you to pick up your order. We are open specific times each week for order pickups. If-inconvenient, you can chose to have your order sent to you for a minumum $35.00 shipping, handling, and insurance charge (shipping charges may be much more based on your order size).

 

7. CUSTOM SERVICES: We understand that one size does not fit all and that based on your lifestyle and geography a modified approach may be necessary to work collboratively with David. To accomodate, the we can modify the process and David's availability. Call the studio to discuss your needs (additional surcharges and fees may apply).

8. 90 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: We are certain that you will be completely satisfied with your images and David's approach. That said, if at any time during your engagement or once you take your prints home if you are not 100% satisfied with your portraits, their value, or David's approach, we will refund all your dollars paid. This does not apply to CD Images, frames, or prints which were altered, modified, reframed or rematted by someone other than us. Your prints must be in like new condition when returned. Delivery, shipping, and handling costs are non-refundable. You are responsible for the delivery or return shipping from your location to the studio. If shipped, your return needs to be insured and trackable. Each return must be preceded by communication with the us for approval. Returns for which we have not been notified, and returns that have not been approved by the studio, will be returned to sender.

9. DAMAGE REPLACEMENT PRINTS: Sometime bad things happen to good prints. Pink Fog Studios, Inc. and David Zwick make not claim, expressed or implied, to store or maintain client images on studio systems or in their ability to replace damaged prints or lost or damaged digital images.

That said, If you or someone else (e.g. a frame shop) damages your prints in some way, if possible, the we will provide replacement prints for 25% of the current a la carte print price plus tax, shipping and handling cost, to cover the time and materials necessary to replace your damages prints or fine art portraits. Damaged prints or fine art portraits must be returned to the studio before a replacement is provided. Clients are resposible for all return delivery or shipping costs. Each damage replacement request and return must be preceded by communication with the studio for approval. Damaged returns for which we have not been notified, and returns that have not been approved by the studio, will be returned to sender.

10. COPYRIGHT: All rights to exclusive ownership and use of orgional images is reserved by Pink Fog Studios, Inc. for display, publicity or otherwise. If you do not wish us to use your images, simply let us know prior to your session.
